About myCADD

myCADD is a professional services consulting firm focused on helping architects, engineers, builders and facility managers leverage CADD and BIM technologies. myCADD provides implementation, training, project consulting, modeling and helpdesk services, remotely or on-site.

Our new Training Center is located in Charlestown, MA. We are currently offering training to groups and will soon be offering classes to individuals as well. The benefit for both individuals and companies is that we provide all the workstations and software needed!

Leadership Team

Troy Mifsud
Troy MifsudPresident
Troy founded myCADD in 2002 and is responsible for strategic planning and project management. Troy is a strong facilitator with a pragmatic approach who can bring groups together to solve complex projects. He has extensive experience in applying software tools in Design, Construction and Facility Management and specializes in streamlining workflows and improving productivity for projects.

Troy is a recognized is an exceptional technical speaker, who can break complex topics so they are easily understandable for all, and has spoken at numerous conferences and events for the AGC, AIA, CSI and Autodesk. As an author, Troy has recorded multiple video training books for Revit Architecture. Troy’s in depth understanding of technology the AECO industry, along with extensive knowledge of the processes and software tools has earned him a reputation as a top CADD\BIM industry expert.

Prior to founding myCADD, Troy practiced healthcare architecture and then moved on to be the lead technical specialist for a large national Autodesk reseller. Troy received his Bachelors of Architecture Technology degree from Ryerson University in Toronto and if you want to connect with Troy outside of work you’ll find him at the golf course in the summer or on the slopes or curling ice in the winter.

Matt Jackson
Matt JacksonBIM Manager
Matt has been a BIM Software Specialist with myCADD since 2005. Matt is a Project Manager on larger projects and provides CADD and BIM related services for Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, Subcontractors, and Facilities Managers. His expertise includes implementation, training, project support, workflow processes, and construction coordination.

Matt has an architectural background and studied at the Boston Architectural College. He currently resides in Fort Myers and heads up our Florida office. His hobbies include outdoor activities such as golfing, kayaking, and vegetable gardening.

John Kelley
John KelleyBIM Manager
John is an Architectural and MEP Software Specialist working with myCADD for 7 years, providing CADD and BIM services for training implementation and support in both the architectural and MEP software suites. John’s secondary expertise in the area of IT provides a unique perspective for our clients, working closely with the technology staff to help integrate the systems needed to support the complex design software of today. John is an expert in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture & MEP, Revit Architecture & MEP, and holds a Microsoft MCTS certification.

John also holds a B.S. of Architectural Technology from Wentworth Institute. After graduation John entered the architectural field, working for several large local and national architectural firms and developers as designer and project manager. Over the twenty plus years of experience, John’s career migrated to the role of CADD Manager and IT Director, continuing to support the architectural and engineering community while specializing on the software needed to support the profession.

Cara DiPierro
Cara DiPierroBIM Manager
Cara recently joined the myCADD team as a BIM Manager after 12 years of working within architectural firms. She’s been working within the BIM environment since 2004 and is highly motivated to help the success of projects with a lead by example approach. Prior to joining myCADD Cara worked for HOK in the London Office coordinating and leading complex projects with mixed digital technologies. She was actively engaged in projects across numerous sectors including aviation, retail, hotel, residential, mixed use and most recently science and technology – providing her with an exceptional breadth of experience in design at all stages, from planning and concept through to delivery of construction documents. Cara’s dedication to BIM was pivotal in the successful completion of The Francis Crick Institute. Cara received her bachelor of Architecture and Design at the University of Tennessee in 2002.
Julia Warnick
Julia WarnickBIM Technician
Julia joined the myCADD team in 2014 and has primarily been working on client sites creating existing conditions Revit models. As a BIM specialist Julia is primarily responsible for assisting development of BIM models, Revit content and libraries, and assisting with day to day technical issues.

Prior to working with myCADD Julia worked in an architectural office where she gained experience in both the technical aspects of the profession as well as creative design development. Julia studied architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before transferring to the Boston Architectural College and has recently completed her Bachelors of Architecture degree. Outside of work and school you can find Julia hiking or sailing in the summer and on the ski slopes in the winter.

Kevin Horne
Kevin HorneBIM Manager
Kevin Horne joined myCADD in 2015 after working as a Project Manager and Project Architect for 12 years. At myCADD Kevin plays a lead role in BIM coordination projects, laser scanning\BIM Modeling and BIM Management services. Throughout his career, Kevin has worked on projects ranging from residential homes to college campuses to developer focused core & shell projects. His focus on institutional and facilities clients has allowed him to deliver projects with a balanced approach to design and function. Clients have included the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Smith College, Wellesley College and Whitehead Biomedical Institute. Kevin has developed a strong skill set in regards to construction coordination and construction administration to help deliver projects within budget and schedule constraints.
Kevin has also served as a Project Director for the Boston Architectural College for the 2009 Solar Decathlon. He received his Masers or Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural College in 2010 and his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Fairfield University in 2002.
Bond Worthington
Bond WorthingtonBIM Manager
Bond joined the myCADD team in early 2016. He has over 12 years of experience in the profession of architecture, dealing with varied project sizes and types across multiple industry sectors that include residential and mixed-use development, hospitality, healthcare, research facilities, and institutional buildings. Bond combines knowledge gained while working through every phase of a project with strong Revit skills to assist design teams in achieving targeted BIM solutions that are tailored to fit their needs. In addition to BIM management, Bond is also a BIM coordinator at myCADD. His background in design and an expertise in building sciences result in functional and technical solutions that are aligned with the design intent of each project.

Bond received his Bachelors of Architecture degree at the Boston Architectural College in 2010 where he was the class salutatorian. He received his Associate Degree of Applied Science of Architecture from Vermont Technical College in 2004. When not working, Bond enjoys exploring the woods of New England.

Michael Greene
Michael GreeneBIM Technician
Michael joined the myCADD team in 2015 and works as a BIM Technician. Michael excels at both architectural and MEP modeling and also assists with laser scanning, point cloud creation. Michael is also well versed in construction coordination, running clash detection and producing related 2D and 3D documentation.

Before Michael came to work at myCADD, he was a soldier in the United States Army. While serving his country he learned many skills that transfer over to just about any field he decides to enter. His ability to lead and guide others in tasks, is an invaluable asset to the myCADD team. After his service to his country Michael attended ITT Technical Institute and received his Computer Aided Drafting and Design Degree followed by studying architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology. When Michael is not working at myCADD you can find him designing his own projects and working with disabled veterans like himself to try to help them find a better way of life, after their time serving their country.

Matt Doyon
Matt DoyonBIM Technician
Matt joined the team as a CAD\BIM technician in 2016 after completing his Bachelors of Architecture degree from Wentworth University in Boston. Matt has strong experience in both Autocad and Revit and his primary role since joining our team has been to create and update CAD files and Revit models for various projects. Matt has been working extensively with Boston Children’s Hospital updating CAD files for compliance and life safety drawings. Matt has also completed multiple Revit modeling projects from point cloud files.

Revit\BIM Technician

myCADD is a leading independent BIM Consulting Group. We provide BIM Implementation, Training, Modeling and consulting services for Architects, Engineers, Construction managers and Building Owner\Operators.

We are currently looking for a person who loves to figure out how best to use and apply BIM technologies. If you like using BIM and computer technologies more than the rest of your job, this may be what you’re looking for.

To be qualified for this position you’ll need 2+ years of architecture\engineering or construction experience and 2 years of Revit experience. The primary role of the BIM specialist\technician will be to develop BIM Templates, Libraries and Models for our clients. There will also be opportunity learn other aspects of our business including existing conditions laser measuring, BIM for construction and BIM for FM. We will also help you develop your BIM Training and Management skills so over time you can grow into senior positions.
